The aircraft is part of the Captain Neville Flying Circus, a barnstorming display team. As part of the show they set up a goal with a goalkeeper wearing big foam hands. The pilot then attempts to drop the ball and score a goal.
Actually there's another Queen Bee "LF789" which resides at the de Havilland Aviation Heritage Centre just a few miles away from where I live. She has no wings though, but she does still retain the old radio equipment I believe. Considering the museum is only around six miles away from me I really must make an effort to visit more often.
