This is another one for ~plumpener You requested engine detail, this is the best I have. The light is a bit dodgy because this was shot when I had only just began to learn photography. However there is plenty of detail visible despite the odd lighting.

This was shot just after the engine was installed for the first time. I will of course look to see if I have any other detail shots of her. If not I will look to get those other shots you wanted in due course.

An R-2800, if I'm not mistaken. The shape of the rear mounting ring and the cowl flaps look like they're from a P-47.
