The lighting may not be fantastic but there was no way I was going to waste a sharp topside shot of this beautiful little fighter was there. :)

Man you don't see many WWII Russian aircraft around these days

I like how the angle really shows off the "stubby" aspect of this unique aircraft. It has a very interesting appeal, it's not pretty like a Spitfire or P-51 but it has it's own deadly, utilitarian look to it.

Quite the stubby thing. It looks like you could easily roll it on its back by torquing up the engine to quickly.

They do indeed, agricultural is definitely a word I would use to describe the sound, but then it is Russian, you could use the word to describe all of their aircraft. :D

I love these little birds. They're possibly one of the most adorable planes from the era....oh god that just sounds weird but hey, it's how it is.
