Kennet Aviation's Douglas Skyraider at Old Warden

 Nicely captured at the point of landing, smashing aircraft. Cracking image.

Two of these actually shot down a MiG-17 jet fighter in Vietnam. They must have been two damn good pilots to have shot down Mig 17s in one of these. Theres like a 350mph difference between the two planes performances. Saying that though I've always been very impressed with the Skyraiders performance at air displays for such a massive aircraft.
Mostly because it was a head-on pass. The two Skyraiders in formation charged head-on against an oncoming MiG-17 and fired first. Their explosive shells ripped the MiG-17 to pieces. The MiG pilot did not survive.
