This was part of a bigger formation of around 25 or so warbirds, the larger formation is made up of these smaller groups of between two and four aircraft. Usually the formation includes Spitfires, Mustangs, P-40s and also the rarer warbirds such as the Hawk-75, P-38, yaks etc. They always end each Flying Legends show with a mass formation. I think the biggest formation I ever saw was around 37 aircraft. It gives you an opportunity such as this where you can see aircraft not often flown together

The Jug especially, it has such a deep gentle note considering it's size. You would expect it to sound like a brute, but no it has a wonderful sound to it.
